Burgis &
Bullock's BBF members enjoy a glass of champagne
to celebrate the firm's 1st Super-Forum on 15
September 2004 at Wroxall Abbey.
A survey by a local firm of
chartered accountants and business advisers has
revealed that 57% of businesses in Warwickshire
are spending too many hours in the workplace.
These findings were highlighted
at Burgis & Bullock's 1st Super-Forum on 15
September at Wroxall Abbey in Warwickshire. Over
130 delegates attended and the popular topic of
time management was addressed with various ideas
as to how to address the work-life balance more
effectively.
Sean Farnell, a business development
partner at Burgis & Bullock and the main speaker
at the forum commented: "With only 1440 minutes
in a typical day, time poverty can be hard to
spot. Many of us have children, the gym membership
and the second home, but do we have time to enjoy
them?
"The door of childhood shuts
so quickly and so finally. There are only 936
weekends and 18 summers in a child's life and
every one is irreplaceable. Our mission was to
encourage the delegates to make important changes
so that they can enjoy a happy and healthy balance
between work and their home lives."
Burgis & Bullock's also hosts
monthly business builder forums in Nuneaton, Rugby
and Leamington Spa. The next forum will focus
on how to turn your sales force into the perfect
selling machine.
Tickets are usually £67.00
