Warwickshire-based accountants, Burgis & Bullock have recently appointed a new partner to further expand and develop their expertise.

Mr Grant Howard, who has been a director of Burgis & Bullock Corporate Finance for the past four years, will now focus on developing a close relationship with clients in cross selling the full range of services.

In recent months, Grant has helped to negotiate several major acquisitions and carry out due diligence in the UK and overseas.

Grant was approached to lead the acquisition of Redditch Laser, a laser cutting service company based in Redditch with an annual turnover of more than £2 million and 20 employees. After the successful acquisition was finalised, Burgis & Bullock was able to continue the service by providing an audit and ongoing management accounts.

Maxon Europe, a European group of companies and part of a $65million USA based international group, required a due diligence report. This was carried out on behalf of a private USA venture capital fund at the European headquarters in Belgium.

Both of the above companies were delighted with Grant's help and his ability to demonstrate the depth of services available at Burgis & Bullock.
